Every university sets its own bar per programme, so this range is a guide, never a promise. Aim ten points above your target cutoff in practice; exam-day nerves cost about that much.

Study plan

A four-week OMPT-A study plan

Four weeks is enough for most students who can give it an hour a day. This is the OMPT-A order I use with my own students.

  1. Week 1

    Numbers and algebra: fractions, powers, factoring. Rebuild the reflexes everything else leans on.

  2. Week 2

    Linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, systems. Timed sets from day three.

  3. Week 3

    Functions, exponentials, and logarithms. This is where most lost points live.

  4. Week 4

    Differentiation rules and applications, then two full timed mocks with error review.
