OMPT-C
The short one: 30 questions on core algebra and a little geometry.
OMPT-C is the entry-level variant, with 66 curriculum topics against OMPT-A's 176. Programmes that only need proof you can handle school algebra ask for it. If you were told 'OMPT-C', do not buy an A-level prep course out of caution; you would be studying four chapters you will never see.

Who requires it
Every requirement below was verified against the university's own admission page; each university page links the exact source. Cutoffs move between intakes, so always confirm on your programme's page.

Scoring
Scale
Percentage score, 0–100%
Our mocks score instantly in your browser. The official test does not: standard grading returns your certificate in about 8 business days, so plan your booking around that wait.
Typical cutoff
60–70% depending on the programme
Every university sets its own bar per programme, so this range is a guide, never a promise. Aim ten points above your target cutoff in practice; exam-day nerves cost about that much.
Study plan
Four weeks is enough for most students who can give it an hour a day. This is the OMPT-C order I use with my own students.
Week 1
Numbers: fractions, negatives, powers and roots without a calculator crutch.
Week 2
Algebra: expanding, factoring, algebraic fractions.
Week 3
Linear formulas, equations and inequalities; basic geometry (Pythagoras, angles).
Week 4
Timed mixed sets and one full mock. Four minutes per question is generous; use it to check work.
Prefer it mapped onto your actual exam date? The study planner turns this outline into a dated week-by-week schedule.

This is question one of the free OMPT-C mock — real difficulty, no warm-up softball.
Algebra
Rewrite 6x + 5 − (3x − 2) as simply as possible.
Solution
The minus sign in front of the bracket flips both signs inside: −(3x − 2) = −3x + 2. Group the x-terms: 6x − 3x = 3x. Group the constants: 5 + 2 = 7, giving 3x + 7.
Scored instantly, per-topic feedback included.
Full mock exams
Each generation is a complete OMPT-C paper — 30 typed-answer questions under the real 120-minute clock, graded with worked solutions. They climb toward the real sitting: start low, finish on the exam-level set the week before you book.

Exam-level means the top of this line — written at the difficulty of the sitting itself. Lower generations sweep more of the syllabus at a gentler level, which is exactly what you want early in a plan.
From students
Feedback from students who prepared here and then sat the real OMPT-C, paraphrased from their e-mails and anonymized to first name and country.
A simple platform with good questions. I needed algebra and geometry practice, and it exposed my careless mistakes fast.
The timer was the useful part. Left alone I take far too long per question; after a timed run I finally knew the pace the real test demands.
Two full mock exams plus complete lessons on every OMPT-C topic, in a Foundation and an Exam-level bundle.
