Terms of service

These terms govern your use of omptpractice.com ("OMPT Practice", "we", "us"). They are written in plain language on purpose. Using the site or buying a plan means you accept them.

1. What we are, and what we are not

OMPT Practice sells preparation material for the OMPT mathematics placement tests: practice questions, timed mock tests, topic drills, study plans, and written guidance. We are an independent prep service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the organisation that administers the official OMPT, and we do not sell, book, or administer the official test. Official bookings, test rules, results, and certificates are entirely between you and the test provider.

2. No score guarantees

We believe our material helps, and we work hard to keep it accurate and current. But your score depends on your starting level, your hours, and your test day. We therefore make no promise that using this site will produce any particular score, a pass, or admission to any programme. Anyone who guarantees you a placement-test score is selling something other than mathematics.

3. Accuracy of information

Facts about test formats, syllabuses, fees, and university score requirements are researched from official sources and dated where possible, but those sources change without notice. Always verify format, rules, and cutoffs with the official test provider and your university before making decisions. Where our information and an official source disagree, the official source wins, every time.

4. Purchases and refunds

Paid plans are one-time purchases processed by our payment provider; prices are shown before checkout and include applicable VAT. If a plan is not what you expected, email omptpractice@proton.me within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it. We ask, but do not require, that you tell us what was missing so we can fix it. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. Personal use

A purchase licenses the material for your own preparation. Do not republish, resell, or redistribute our questions, solutions, or guides, and do not scrape the site. Sharing your screen with a study partner is fine; uploading our question bank somewhere is not.

6. Acceptable use

Use the site for test preparation. Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload it, and do not use our material to cheat on the official test in any way. Cheating on a proctored placement test tends to end admissions careers, and we want no part in it.

7. Liability

The site and its content are provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Material changes to purchased plans will not reduce what you already bought.
