Leiden University: OMPT requirements by programme

Leiden University names the OMPT as a replacement exam for five bachelors, all in the Faculty of Science, and the arrangement is unusually uniform: OMPT-D at 60% for Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Biology, and Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, and OMPT-A at the same 60% for Science for Sustainable Societies. Every row carries the same set of alternatives — Boswell-Beta, the Dutch VWO state exam, or CCVX.

Sixty percent on the D is a materially different task from 60% on the A, even though the number matches. The D runs 21 long-form questions over three hours across the widest syllabus of any variant, including geometry and integration; 60% means securing full credit on roughly thirteen of them, and the OMPT's all-or-nothing marking makes half-finished solutions worthless. Practise writing complete solutions under the clock, not just recognising methods.
