VILNIUS TECH OMPT deadlines and how to submit the certificate

The application deadline for non-EU applicants is 15 June, and 1 August for EU citizens and Ukrainian citizens. Applications run through apply.vilniustech.lt (DreamApply), the application fee is €100 and must be paid by the application deadline at the latest, and a recorded interview has to be completed within five days of the invitation. No separate OMPT deadline is published, so the working assumption is that the certificate must be in your application by the date you submit it.

The submission instruction is explicit: upload the exam certificate to the online application system. With standard grading of about eight business days, a test sat in the last week of May lands in time for 15 June with a little slack; a test sat in April leaves room for a retake. Note that the older 2026-27 admission section mentioned a 20 April deadline for an earlier window in that cycle; the current application-procedure page says 15 June, and that is the date to trust for the live cycle. What VILNIUS TECH accepts instead of the OMPT

For applicants from the three named countries, nothing. The general academic requirement is a high school certificate with a cumulative average of at least 60%, and the OMPT is the maths instrument that goes with it; no SAT, IB or A-level substitute is listed. Applicants from every other country are assessed on their school maths grade directly, so the requirement simply never arises for them. Architecture applicants also sit the university's own entrance test, which is a separate hurdle and not an OMPT replacement.

Tuition for 2026-27 (non-EU, per year) is €3,950 for the business, economics, creative industries and logistics bachelors, €4,950 for engineering, IT and technology programmes, €4,380 for most professional bachelors (€3,600 for Port and Shipping Engineering Management), €6,250 for Architecture and €9,000 for the Multimedia Design dual degree. All programmes on the international list are taught in English on the Vilnius campus.

What to do if you fail the OMPT for VILNIUS TECH

VILNIUS TECH publishes no attempt cap, no validity period and no statement of what happens below the 60% or 50% line, which means the practical rules are the OMPT's own (generally up to three attempts, each a fresh fee) and the application calendar. If your first result is short, the arithmetic is simple: a second sitting needs to be graded before 15 June, so book it as soon as your first post-failure timed mock clears the bar with margin, and use the per-topic breakdown on your certificate to choose what to fix.

Because the score feeds a formula, a marginal pass is not the end of the analysis either. A 61% clears the line but contributes a weak maths component to your entrance score; if you have time and the topics to fix are narrow, a retake that lands in the 70s may be worth the fee even though the first pass technically counted.
